Dr Tana Joseph headed, overhauled, implemented and ran the job shadow programme at the University of Cape Town’s Astronomy Department for the period of 2014 – 2016.
During this programme, high school learners got to experience a day in the life of an astronomer by “shadowing” a researcher and seeing what they do in terms of their research, interacting with their colleagues, etc.
